RELATIONSHIPS
Yasmin’s best friends are Sasha, Cloe, and Jade. In the animated television series, Yasmin is romantically linked to Eitan. The 2007 film Bratz, which is non-canonical to the animated Bratz features, depicts a romantic relationship between Yasmin and Dylan. In a 2011 blog on the official Bratz website, Yasmin mentions going on a date with Gable. Yasmin is the daughter of Portia. Yasmin’s mother appears in the 2007 film Bratz Sleep-Over Adventure, while her grandmother and younger brother appear in the 2007 film Bratz. Yasmina Clairvoya, a character from the Bratzillaz line, is advertised as Yasmin’s “witchy cousin”.
Yasmin has had several pets throughout the years via animal-centric Bratz collections; however, most of the pets do not have major significance in Yasmin’s story or the Bratz franchise. Yasmin’s most significant pet is her frog Pretty Princess, who was introduced in the Bratz Babyz line in 2004 and has appeared in different collections across several spinoffs since. Although not advertised as Yasmin’s pet, Brigitte from the Bratz Petz Catz line wears Yasmin’s Pretty Princess icon on her collar. Additionally, Bonita from the Bratz Ponyz line is considered Yasmin’s pony.

Yasmin has appeared in every Bratz film and series, with the exception of Lil’ Bratz Party Time! and Bratzillaz, starting with the CoooolTV television shorts in 2003. Yasmin has also appeared in a majority of other Bratz media, such as video games and books.

Yasmin was originally named “Lupe”. Yasmin is named after MGA CEO Isaac Larian’s daughter, Jasmin Larian. Yasmin shares a name with a character from MGA Entertainment sister brand Dream Ella who was introduced in 2021.
