FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

  • LookinBratz.com is a fanmade website dedicated to the Bratz brand and is named after a Bratz cosmetics line that was produced in 2003. @LookinBratz AKA Dom is a content creator who creates Bratz and doll-focus content on social media.

  • Yes and no. I am a free agent, but often do freelance work with MGA Entertainment and Bratz-affiliated licensing companies.

  • Yes, there is a Lookin’ Bratz Shop featuring merch inspired by the Bratz brand! This is the only page on the website with products being sold.

  • No, I do not sell official Bratz dolls or merchandise on LookinBratz.com. However, I recommended checking out my Amazon storefront for official Bratz items!

  • While the Lookin' Bratz Database holds over 11,000+ entries, it is by no means a complete archive. The Database will continue to grow as more items are discovered and released.

  • LookinBratz.com is always taking submissions for pictures, if you believe you have a higher quality image of an existing product in the database or have a product not yet featured in the database. You can submit images for review on the Contact page. You will receive full credit if an image you own gets approved for the database.

  • This entire website is a time capsule of Bratz history. If you want more information about the creation of the Bratz brand, you can read about that on the Bratztory page!

  • Whatever information is publicly available about releases is typically all I know. If I ever know more than that, it is likely information I cannot share. Follow @LookinBratz across socials for occasional release updates and news, and stay tuned to the Blog for news as well!

  • I have been a Bratz fan since 2006, so most of the information presented on the website comes from personal knowledge and information passed down. The Database is comprised of a ton of research and fan submissions. I have also done a lot of research about the Bratz brand generally for nearly two decades, which has further expanded my knowledge of the brand.

  • I do not have any specific artwork galleries on the website and this is not something I am interested in creating. However, there is artwork featured throughout the site on various pages, such as the Character Profiles. I also post a lot of higher quality artwork on the Lookin’ Bratz Instagram page.

  • A mix of places! Some artwork is from online resources, some of it is from my personal scans, some of it is directly from MGA Entertainment with granted permission. From 2024 and moving forward, a lot of artwork featured on this website is original and commissioned from independent artists in the online Bratz community.

  • Any unreleased Bratz media I have is posted on the Lookin' Bratz YouTube channel.

  • No. This is a resource, not a gossip site. But, you can find fun trivia and facts throughout the website on the Database and Stilesville Central.

  • Yes! Feel free to visit City Cinema for organized playlists of Bratz films and shows, as well as Rock Out! to listen to Bratz music.

  • The Database includes variants of all types of Bratz products from every Bratz spinoff.

  • I always encourage researching! The Database includes 11,000+ Bratz products from dolls to merch, and the Screening Guides allow for easier doll identification.

  • I currently do not have interest in creating a page dedicated to prototypes and/or unreleased products because these images are not often legally obtained, though I will occasionally post samples, prototypes, and unreleased products from my own collection on social media. I would rather focus on archiving officially released products on this website, but do encourage those interested in unreleased dolls to check out the Bratz Prototype Archives Instagram page!

  • Unfortunately, there is no way to upload Flash files to my server, but I have been working to find a solution as I have archived a lot of Flash games. Until a solution is found, there will be no games uploaded.

  • I decided to omit most clothing pieces and costumes from the Database because it is difficult to track down most of those pieces, know which pieces are genuine licensed merchandise, and I do not have interest in archiving a majority of these items. I have included a few clothing collections that were easy to keep track of and list in the Database and “4you” costume pieces. In 2020 and moving forward, the Database will be including clothing pieces such as t-shirts and apparel collections.

  • First of all, that's a bit of a tacky question. Sit with it. Second, I do not have that kind of power. I do not work for MGA Entertainment or have influence over their PR lists.

  • Well yes! I often work with MGA Entertainment, Bratz licensing partners, and other doll companies on a variety of social media content. Check out my virtual Media Kit for sample work and contact me if you are interested in collaborating!
