Dolls Kill x Bratz Collection is Available Now + Bratz.com Update!
Hey Angelz!
Exciting news for Bratz fans wanting to live a Bratz lifestyle! The Dolls Kill x Bratz collection has officially launched today after weeks of anticipation and buzz. It seems that fans are divided on whether or not to support this collaboration considering Dolls Kill’s controversial past. Some fans are against this collab, some are for it, and some are still on the fence.
Despite fans’ concerns, it seems that this collection is selling well for willing fans and Dolls Kill’s customer base as some items have already sold out! Bratz fans have been quick to take note of the subtle Bratz references in some of the collection’s pieces, such as First Edition Cloe’s “Angel” top with the “Heaven Sent” baby tee and Girls Nite Out Yasmin’s mini dress with the “Above The Drama” mini dress. Other references to OG Bratz outfits include the “Call Me Angel” long sleeve top (potentially based on First Edition Yasmin’s second top), “Set The Trend” halter top and “Diva Squad” denim skirt (Funk ‘N’ Glow Jade’s pieces), “Guess Who’s Back” denim jumpsuit (Girls Nite Out Sasha’s/Secret Date Yasmin’s denim jumpsuit), “Fashion Forward” platform boots (a commonly used Bratz shoe mold, but more aligned with XPress It! Yasmin’s boots), “All The Rage” sheer mini dress and crop top (based on Flaunt It! Jade’s flame top print), and “Expensive Taste” glitter belt (reminiscent of the “Bratitude” costumes from the 2007 Bratz film).
While I have personally been on the fence about buying from Dolls Kill, I do think many of the styles are really cute. Dolls Kill offers a wide range of clothing sizes, which is great for Angelz of all body types lookin’ to live out their Bratz fantasies, plus they ship WORLDWIDE for international fans who have missed out on the other Bratz merch that has been coming out recently. There are also cute accessories for sale for those not interested in clothing items, like the “Keep It Glossy” hair pin set and “Cuddle Closer” mini backpack. If you want to shop the Dolls Kill x Bratz collection, click here. Some styles have already sold out, but here’s hoping they do a restock for fans! I will be updating the LB Database with the Dolls Kill x Bratz pieces soon.
Another exciting update is that the official Bratz website has been updated after nearly two years of inactivity! The website is being hosted by Shopify, so it is likely we will be seeing an online store for future Bratz products. The website only includes a video edited by creative director Mar Cantos (@martincantos) at the moment, but there is a newsletter sign-up for website updates! Let’s hope we see more exciting things from the brand soon.
