I thought it would be a good idea to create this post to collect all of the information that will be coming out about the Bratz 20th Anniversary, more specifically new products coming from the brand and updates on new dolls. A lot of speculation has occurred surrounding the Bratz returning this year, so I wanted to organize resources for fans to reference about what news has officially come out so far. This post will track all of the Bratz brand ventures and events that have occurred since January 2020. Hyperlinks for more details on certain events and product launches will be included in this post.
January 17, 2020: MGA Entertainment publishes an advertisement for licensing opportunities for the Bratz brand in Licensing Source.
May 7, 2020: Bratz returns to social media after nearly a year-long hiatus.
May 21, 2020: Bratz celebrates their nineteenth anniversary!
May 28, 2020: Bratz t-shirts launch at Hot Topic and BoxLunch.
June 20, 2020: A second wave of Bratz t-shirts launch at Hot Topic and BoxLunch.
July 5, 2020: A Bratz billboard is spotted in New York City for Pride season.
July 16, 2020: Bratz apparel is spotted at a Bershka store in Italy.
July 22, 2020: Bershka x Bratz collection launches.
August 15, 2020: Dolls Kill x Bratz collection is teased on Mar Cantos’ Instagram story.
August 28, 2020: The Dolls Kill x Bratz collection launches and the official Bratz website is given a makeover after nearly two years.
September 20, 2020: Listings leak confirming two new Bratz collections in the works, a core series retailing at $26.99 USD and a collector series retailing at $49.99 USD. Original post has since been deleted.
October 25, 2020: The official Bratz UK account teases “something special” on their Instagram account.
October 27, 2020: The official Bratz UK account reveals the PrettyLittleThing x Bratz collection and it launches the same day.
November 23, 2020: A third wave of Bratz shirts launches on Amazon.
November 29, 2020: The official Bratz social media accounts post a poll for Bratz fans to vote for which classic Bratz collection they want to brought back from the “vault”.
December 1, 2020: The official Bratz social media accounts post another poll asking Bratz fans which collection they want brought back from the “vault”.
December 5, 2020: Leaked listings confirm that the new Bratz Collector dolls will possibly be an Amazon exclusive, while the core series will not be an Amazon exclusive.
December 8, 2020: Bratz face masks launch at Hot Topic and listings for the Bratz Collector 20th Anniversary Edition Cloe, Yasmin, and Sasha dolls leak.
December 17, 2020: The Bratz Lookz and Bratz Collectiblez digital platforms are announced.
December 22, 2020: The Bratz Collectiblez digital trading card sale launches.
December 27, 2020: The backside of a Bratz Collectiblez “Shimmerin’” card reveals that a “real life collectible Bratz doll” will be redeemable with that digital trading card in June 2021, setting a potential release date for the new Bratz dolls (see “Third Update” in blog post).
December 29, 2020: An MGA customer care representative confirms that Bratz will be making a comeback with select retailers for a core series and collector series in August 2021.
January 1, 2021: The official Bratz social media accounts celebrate 2021 as their twentieth anniversary year.
January 25, 2021: MGA Entertainment files a trademark for “Bratz Beauty”, meaning there will likely be cosmetics products on the way.
January 29, 2021: Three new Bratz shirts are added to Amazon.
January 31, 2021: A new Bratz t-shirt is added to Hot Topic. Unlike the other Bratz shirts from Hot Topic, this is not a made-to-order shirt and will likely be available in physical stores.
February 5, 2021: A new Bratz hair accessory set is found in a Hot Topic store (image courtesy of Anika Miles).
February 8, 2021: Bratz jewelry sets are spotted at Hot Topic.
February 10, 2021: The new Bratz accessories begin appearing on the Hot Topic website.
February 14, 2021: A new Bratz shirt appears on the Hot Topic website.
February 15, 2021: It is later confirmed that the prices have changed for each collection. The Rock Angelz re-release will retail at $34.99, the First Edition re-release will retail at $19.99 and will include a second boy (rumored to be Dylan), the Collector 20th Anniversary line will retail at $59.99 and include two additional characters alongside the core four, and the Deluxe Collector 20th Anniversary doll will retail at $79.99. Please note the art featured in the links are not the official artworks for the collections and are just being used as examples.
February 26, 2021: A Target employee confirms that “Bratz Collector 20th Anniversary Edition”, “Bratz Collector Deluxe Doll”, “Bratz Original Doll”, and “Bratz Rock Angelz” have appeared in Target’s system (see the “News 2021” highlight on the Lookin’ Bratz Instagram story highlights section for images).
March 8, 2021: A new Bratz tank top is made available at Hot Topic.
March 26, 2021: New Bratz apparel is released at several online and physical retailers.
April 4, 2021: The official Bratz Instagram page gives hints for a new game/phone app being released on April 30, 2021.
April 5, 2021: A clothing collab with Bratz and Israel-based company Fix is released.
April 6, 2021: The official Bratz Instagram page releases a teaser video for their upcoming game.
April 8, 2021: Three Bratz t-shirts are added to Rue21’s website.
April 11, 2021: The name and plot of the new Bratz Total Fashion Makeover game are revealed.
April 13, 2021: A new Bratz t-shirt is spotted at a Walmart store in the U.S.
April 27, 2021: A new Bratz shirt is added to Amazon.
April 29, 2021: Listings for the Bratz Original (First Edition re-releases) dolls, Bratz Rock Angelz dolls, Bratz Rock Angelz Cruiser and Doll, and Bratz Deluxe Collector Tokyo Kumi go live on Amazon, with some available to pre-order. Listings on Amazon Italy confirm that the “Bratz Collector 20th Anniversary Edition” collection has been changed to “Bratz Designer”. Links can be found here and here. April 30, 2021: Bratz Total Fashion Makeover officially launches!
May 21, 2021: The Bratz 20 Yearz Special Edition dolls are given an early release on the Hot Topic website and sell out. Do not worry though! The dolls will be more widely available in the coming months, which you can find more details on here. The official Bratz Instagram account also teases a new series with animation done by @rajasdesigns.
May 22, 2021: The official Bratz Instagram teases their new makeup line.
June 2, 2021: The Bratz 20 Yearz dolls begin making their way to more Hot Topic stores (specifically in the East Coast) and Myer and Toyworld stores in Australia.
June 6, 2021: The Bratz x Revolution makeup collaboration is teased/announced.
June 7, 2021: A new listing for Rock Angelz Roxxi is posted on Amazon, implying that Roxxi will be released as a separate doll and no longer with the Rock Angelz Cruiser as originally believed. Bratz and Revolution officially announce their makeup collection on Instagram with an animated video created by @rajasdesigns.
June 10, 2021: The Bratz x NO NAME Mexico clothing collaboration is announced.
June 12, 2021: More pictures of the Bratz x Revolution Makeup collab are released (see under “UPDATE 06/12”).
June 13, 2021: Even more promotional and stock images, as well as price points, for the Bratz x Revolution Makeup collab are released (see under “UPDATE 06/13”).

November 25, 2021: GCDS starts officially teasing their Bratz collaboration and Talking Bratz returns to TikTok.
November 26, 2021: An image of the new Sweet Heart Meygan reproduction doll leaks.
November 29, 2021: GCDS announces the release date of their Bratz collaboration on Instagram.
Please note that information regarding details about the dolls and release dates are subject to change. Some links may not work over time as things get deleted by other users and websites hosting product listings. This post will continue to be updated with all new information that comes out about the Bratz 20th Anniversary and any news related to it. Some fans are wondering if the dolls will be released internationally, but I do not have many details on their release outside of the U.S. Make sure to contact your local retailers and MGA’s international offices to find out it they know more.
